Start Heritage Day with a morning run.

Emalahleni City Marathon is happening this month.

This new kid on the block is presented by Thungela Athletic Club.

It is a four-in-one marathon that will be held on September 24.

The race will consist of a 4.9km fun run or walk a 10km, 21.1km, and 42.2km race.

Entry is R60 for the fun run or walk, R100 for the 10km, R220 for the 21.1km, and R320 for the 42.2km.

The fun run or walk and 10km starts at 06:30 and the 21.1km and 42.2km start at 06:00 at Witbank High School.

The 21.1km and 42.2km races are Two Oceans- and Comrades Marathon qualifiers.

The first 500 entries in the 21.1km and 42.2km will each receive a free beautifully designed t-shirt.

There are medals for all the winners. Runners that finish the 42.2km race in less than four hours will each receive a special medal.
