Elkana has fun in the sun with sport

The aim of the day was for the learners to enjoy themselves.

The Elkana School has had a very sunny and fun-filled day planned out for the learners.

The school hosted its yearly sports day on Thursday, February 23 and all the learners were excited to participate in the events.

Sifiso Hashinini, Natasha Pietersen and Zinhle Sibiya.

The classes competed against each other in netball, egg-on-spoon races, and tested their strength in the tug-of-war competition.

“The aim of the day was for the learners to have fun and enjoy the outdoors,” said Dane de Villiers, educator at Elkana School.
