Drivers injured in three-vehicle collision on R555
It is believed that a driver trying to overtake another vehicle might have been the cause of the accident.
A three-vehicle collision has taken place on the R555 (Old Middelburg Road) this morning.
One vehicle and two heavy vehicles has been involved in the accident that happened about 10km out of eMalahleni.
It is believed that the accident might have been caused due to an overtake gone wrong.
No fatalities have been reported but drivers have sustained injuries.
All emergency services are on the scene.
The road is currently filled with spilt oil and the cleanup might take a while.
Traffic is backed up on both sides and is being diverted by traffic officials.
Road users are cautioned to drive with care and not speed as towing services and officials will be clearing accident scenes and oil spills.
