No fatalities reported after three-vehicle collision in Thubelihle, Ga-Nala

From the information I gathered the taxi was stationary on the side of the road waiting for a passenger, the taxi driver did turn on the hazards to his vehicle.

Public transports believed to have been carrying, school children, mine workers and passengers collided near Thubelihle Stadium in Ga-Nala. 

 

The accident was reported on Tuesday, August 28 at around 06:55.

“From the information I gathered the taxi was stationary on the side of the road waiting for a passenger, the taxi driver did turn on the hazards to his vehicle. The bus driver collided with the taxi, and as a result the bus also crashed into the second bus,” said Percival Motloung from Percival Emergency Medical Services (PEMS). 

 

He went on to say that when he arrived on the scene some of the drivers and passengers were already at Thubelihle Clinic seeking medical attention, “No fatalities were reported, two injuries were serious to minor.”

 

More passengers were transported to Witbank Provincial Hospital by PEMS.
