House robber caught in Del Judor X4
“When I walked into the passage, a man was standing near the door, before I could say anything he cried and said there were people who wanted to kill him,” the victim said.
An unknown male suspect was caught on the run after he allegedly threatened and stole a woman’s smartphone.
According to the female victim, she was lying on the couch watching a movie this morning (Tuesday, October 31) when her dog started barking uncontrollably near the door, she began to worry and went to check.
“When I walked into the passage, a man was standing near the door, before I could say anything he cried and said there were people who wanted to kill him,” the victim said.
The frightened woman went on to say that she instructed the suspect to get out of her house because she was uncomfortable with an unknown man inside her house.
“I grabbed my phone and tried to call the police to assist him, he then grabbed and threatened me with a knife before snatching my phone,” the victim said.
The suspect allegedly escaped using the backyard wall.
The woman called for help on the local community watch group who managed to apprehend the suspect whilst on the run on Mandela Road.
