Urgent appeal to find missing dog Tyson

A distraught dog owner is appealing to the community for help finding their beloved Border Collie, Tyson, who has been missing for a month.
Tyson, a friendly black and white male, was last seen in the Steenkamp Street area of Klipfontein.
According to the owner, Chantelle Jansen van Vuuren, Tyson was initially hiding in an open field in Extension 8 but has now ventured into nearby residential areas in search of food.
The owner believes that Tyson will only be caught if being cornered on a property, as he is in survival mode and will run away if approached suddenly.
In a recent update, the owner spotted Tyson at 04:25 on Monday, July 15, at the entrance of a field in Trombone. Although Tyson ran away, crawling on hands and knees to show no threat, he disappeared into a thicket.
The community is urged to assist in finding Tyson, who is not dangerous and is dearly loved family. If you have any information or spot Tyson, please get in touch with his owner directly by his at 082 568 1319.
Food and a large bucket of water have been placed at the entrance of the bushes where Tyson was last seen. The owner is desperate to be reunited with their furry friend and is counting on the community’s help.
