The Witbank KwaGuqa Masters League is ablaze with intensity as the top teams clash in a battle for supremacy.

The fixtures of the matches hosted by United Masters, at the Lynnville Stadium in Ackerville on Sunday, August 4, were a testament to the league’s excitement.

Phatudi Masters kicked off the day with a convincing 2-0 win over St John Legends, setting the tone for a thrilling afternoon.
Maredi United then edged out Vithiza Legends 1-0 in a nail-biting encounter, while Shining Stars exploded into form with a dazzling 5-0 demolition of Dangerous Darkies.

United Masters wrapped up the day with a dominant 2-0 victory over 3D Masters, cementing their title credentials.
As the league table takes shape, United Masters and Shining Stars are locked in a fierce duel for the top spot, both boasting 11 points.

Maredi United lurks menacingly in third, just a point adrift, ready to pounce on any slip-up.

“We as Witbank KwaGuqa Masters League, aim to ensure that football in our neighbourhood, including the whole eMalahleni stays alive. Not just for the youth, but even for the grown-ups. Our ages start from anyone who was born in 1991 until today. We play anywhere in eMalahleni, depending on which team will be hosting us on that Sunday. At the moment, we are running without sponsors. This means the teams are running things themselves. We have eight teams in our league, and we are still open to any teams that want to join us.
