Face of Emalahleni Queen sets sights on empowering future generations
‘I’m committed to being a powerhouse for eMalahleni and beyond’
Recently crowned Face of Emalahleni Queen Emihle Sanela (24) is poised to make a lasting impact on her community.
She is a business management student at Nkangala TVET College and is determined to leverage her platform to drive positive change.
With a storied pageant history, including Miss Teen Emalahleni 2017, Miss Loskop Valley 2020, and Miss Inspire SA 2023, Emihle’s experience and confidence shone through as she took the stage.
“I’ve always wanted to be the Face of Emalahleni Queen, and knowing my hard work and dedication paid off, was amazing,” she said, recalling when her name was announced.
As the newly-crowned queen, Emihle plans to tackle period poverty, advocating for free sanitary towels to bring dignity and confidence to young girls.
Raised by a single parent in eMalahleni, Emihle’s personal experiences fuel her passion for empowering women, “My journey has taught me resilience and compassion,” she said, “I want to inspire others to break barriers and pursue their dreams. I intend to make the best of every opportunity and hope to continue inspiring my community. I’m committed to being a powerhouse for eMalahleni and beyond.”
