5 suspects killed during shoot-out in Schoongezicht this morning
One suspect wounded during the shoot-out with police in Schoongezicht will appear in court soon.
Chaos broke loose in Schoongezicht this morning when five suspects planning an ATM bombing were fatally wounded.
The shots fired broke the silence in the early hours of the morning as a multi-disciplinary team returned fire when the suspects started shooting when they realised they were surrounded.
According to Colonel Katlego Mogale from the Hawks, one suspect was arrested and taken to hospital.
