The South African Weather Service predicted more rain for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Day of Goodwill.

The weather service forecasted morning drizzle along the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Escarpment regions.

“A notably reduced distribution of showers and thundershowers is anticipated in the afternoon.”

On the Day of Goodwill (26 December), isolated showers and thundershowers are expected over most parts of the country, except for the north-eastern and south-western regions.

AccuWeather is on the same page and predicted thunderstorms for the rest of the week.
