Aggressive bees cause havoc in Klipfontein

Several people were rushed to the hospital after a swarm of bees went on a rampage this afternoon.

A large swarm of aggressive bees reported earlier in De Klerk Street, close to the Checkers Klipfontein, caused a lot of havoc this afternoon.

“Attempts are now been made to remove the hive safely, Annemarie Bouwer from SACCW said.

The bees were attacking anyone who moved, and medical services were on the scene treating those who had been stung.

Residents are urged to exercise extreme caution.
