Rain floods roads in and around eMalahleni

The roads are waterlogged in and around eMalahleni making driving very dangerous. Please drive with caution.

The rain caused havoc on the roads this morning.

A man was seriously injured in an accident on the N4 at the Schonland Drive turn-off.

Traffic came to a standstill as emergency personnel freed the man from his vehicle in the pouring rain.

Reports of waterlogged roads streamed in as motorists made their way to work.

The R555 had bad spots of water puddles and in front of Komatsu on the OR Tambo Road a lot of stones and water were reported, the bridge going to Ogies downtown was flooded and a lot of water in OR Tambo Road in front of Live Cosmos Hospital was also called in.

R555/Blackhill/Ogies road just before Tungela mine was under water too.

Several farm roads are under water making driving impossible.
