Dodge the pothole on the R547 under the bridge
There is a dangerous pothole on the way to Ga-Nala. Motorists are urged to drive with caution.
The pothole underneath the bridge before Van Dyksdrift stretches over the entire width of the road and already claimed a lot of tyres.
Because of recent rains the little sand that was left in the pothole also washed away leaving a gaping hole of about 90cm deep.
Audrey Roberts, whose husband travels the road every day, said it is not only Mother Nature, but trucks are also the reason why the ‘trench’ is getting wider and deeper.
Motorists are cautioned to drive very carefully.
