ANC and concerned community members demand the removal of the council speaker with immediate effect

Concerned citizens and members of the African National Congress (ANC) wait with bated breath for ANC Nkangala Region's response to 'Mswati Must Fall' demands.

The ‘Mswati Must Fall’ marchers have given the ANC Nkangala Region a 72-hour ultimatum to respond to their memorandum of grievances.

This comes after a march earlier today, where members of the ANC and the community around eMalahleni demanded the removal of Emalahleni Local Municipality Council Speaker Cir Mduduzi Mswati Nkosi with immediate effect.

The marchers are calling for Nkosi’s removal due to allegations of money laundering and causing division within the party, amongst other demands.

The memorandum, handed over to the ANC, outlines the marchers’ demands, which they expect to be addressed within the given timeframe.
