Eight categories with sub-categories wrapped up the business sphere in the City of Coal.

Here is a breakdown of how many nominees there were:

  • Kids: 67
  • Motoring: 65
  • Healthcare: 25
  • Eat, drink & be merry: 54
  • Home improvement: 32
  • Shopping: 56
  • Living: 35
  • Glam it up: 48

 

Shortly after the nominees were announced, voting started, and our readers were not shy.

In the Kids category 14 976 votes were received.

The Motoring category saw 1 237 votes.

Healthcare baosted 1 273 votes.

Residents enjoy good food and a ‘lekker kuier’. In the Eat, drink and be merry category 2 204 votes were received.

Home improvement had 1 431 votes, Shopping 2 718 votes, the Living category 2 878 votes, and the old time favourite Glam it up bagged 3 222 votes.
