Twice the victim after robbery and alleged rape
The victim managed to escape from the perpetrators and made her way to the nearest hospital.
The past week, another rape and robbery were reported at Witbank Police Station as we enter Women’s Month.
It is alleged by the victim that she was robbed and then raped on August 4 in Extension 10 as she was on her way to the shops.
The victim further alleged that she was overpowered by three unknown men while walking. It is said that the three men started beating her and robbing her of her belongings before fleeing the scene.
She reported that while she was crying, a white vehicle with three men stopped next to her and the driver offered her a lift to get help.
It’s alleged that she was then driven into a dark place, where the men then raped her.
She managed to escape the ordeal and ran to the nearest hospital.
