Community members of eMalahleni are encouraged to adhere to and follow all the rules of the road, especially after dark.

This comes after an accident involving a VW Polo and Toyota Quantum left a female victim deceased on the old Middelburg road on September 19 right after 20:00.

It is alleged that on that fateful night, the surviving victim who was driving a Toyota Quantum was on his way to Middelburg when a blue VW Polo passed him at high speed before crashing into a barrier line and afterwards crashed into his Quantum minibus.

Witbank Police were on duty when they received a complaint of the accident at the mentioned address and upon arrival, there was allegedly one female in the Polo vehicle that was deceased.

Witbank Police urge motorists to follow the rules of the road.
