Police appeal for public assistance in locating missing man

He was last seen driving a white Toyota Aygo and has not been heard from since.

Witbank Police are appealing to the public for urgent assistance in locating 38-year-old Wilson Masango, who disappeared after leaving eMalahleni for a routine trip to the Oshoek Border Post to have his passport stamped. The last time anyone saw or heard from him was around 18:00 on October 18.

Masango was driving a white Toyota Aygo with registration number LHV 455 MP at the time of his disappearance. He was wearing blue shorts, a green t-shirt, and black safety shoes.

Masango is described as being of medium height, physically fit, with black hair and distinctive black and white eyes. The report was filed by his work colleague, Tawanda Tachivenyika, after Wilson failed to return or make contact.

Police are asking members of the public who may have seen Masango, his vehicle, or anything suspicious along the route between eMalahleni and the Oshoek Border Post to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Sergeant Mandla Zitha directly at 078 594 2783.
