Four teams battled it out this past weekend during the Duvha Park soccer tournament, providing spectacular action.
The competition saw local side Duvha Park United host challenging teams: Polokwane, Mohwaduba Bus Services Masters, and Benicon Masters.
The stage was set on November 9 for an exciting day of soccer, and it certainly delivered. Ultimately, Duvha Park United snatched the trophy after a thrilling, nail-biting final.
Organiser Aggie Morodi noted the success of the event, stating that the players are ‘hungry’ for soccer action.
Morodi highlighted the deeper purpose of the tournament: To give young players a glimpse of the heart and soul of the sport by promoting discipline and teamwork.

“The aim is to get the young generation interested in sport, and the older generation is willing to help shape the young stars,” Morodi concluded.
