NAA athletes dominate MPS night race podium

Nkangala Athletic Academy dominated the Middelburg Primary School night race, sweeping the top three podium positions.

Nkangala Athletic Academy delivered a commanding performance at the Middelburg Primary School night race, once again sweeping the top three podium positions.

Pule Mabaso led the charge, winning the race in 30:45 and finishing as the first junior athlete across the line. Close behind him was Lucky Tsotetsi, who secured second place in 30:58, while Lesigo Mabaso rounded off the top three with a time of 31:30.

The latest results underline the academy’s continued dominance in local competitions, with its athletes consistently setting the pace.

The presence of the Mabaso brothers on the podium further highlighted the team’s depth and talent.

“We’re seeing different athletes stepping up in each race, and that’s exactly what we want. The competition within the team is pushing everyone to improve, and it shows in the results,” coach Emmanuel Mabaso said.
