Women attending Emalahleni’s 52nd Ordinary Council Meeting were honoured with roses and chocolates as the municipality marked the closing of Women’s Month.

It was all roses at the 52nd Ordinary Council Meeting on August 27 as the Emalahleni Local Municipality celebrated women.

As Women’s Month draws to a close, Mayor Clr Vusi Nhlapho, together with Speaker Clr Millicent Shabangu, took a moment to honour the women present at the council sitting.

Roses and chocolates were presented to the women as a simple token of appreciation and recognition.

The gesture included women from administration and media, as well as female guests seated in the gallery, creating a warm moment during the official proceedings.

The municipality acknowledged all women across eMalahleni, celebrating their strength, contribution and continued role in building the community.
