Nthokozisi drives away with Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL

Lady Luck smiled on Nthokosisi Mahlangu who won a brand-new set of wheels at the Meat Your New Wheels car competition.

A routine grocery run turned into the drive of a lifetime for Nthokozisi Mahlangu after his till slip was drawn in the Meat World’s national Meat Your New Wheels competition.

It was smiles and celebrations all over when Mahlangu took ownership of a brand-new Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL this morning.

Mahlangu said he never in his wildest dreams thought he would win a prize, let alone a car.

“I entered because the cashier mentioned that I had spent over R500 and encouraged me to fill in my details on the till slip and drop it in the box,” Mahlangu said.

“I could hardly believe it when Jacaranda FM phoned to say I had won.”

Mahlangu is one of 20 winners countrywide to drive away with a vehicle.
