DEOPR Care Facility for the Elderly and CPF Sector 3 Mondeor Precinct will join forces for a fundraising golf day at South Downs Country Club to support elderly residents.

The event takes place on October 29 at 70 Alabaster Drive, Mayfield Park, Johannesburg, with tee-off at 11:30.

The golf day will bring together businesses, families, and members of the community for a day of sport, networking, and fundraising. Funds raised will help DEOPR improve its facilities, services, and care for elderly residents.

Sponsorship packages available

A range of sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses wishing to support the initiative.

The Platinum Headline Sponsorship, at R10 000, includes two four-ball entries, halfway house refresh and dinner.

The sponsor receives prominent branding at the registration table, putting green, and 18th green, as well as recognition in the golf day programme.

Platinum sponsors may also display marketing material and include branded merchandise in player gift bags.

Gold Hole Sponsorship is available at R4 000 per hole for the prime first and 10th tee-box locations.

Sponsors receive branding at the tee box, recognition in the programme, and the opportunity to provide branded items for golfer gift bags.

Silver Hole Sponsorship costs R3 500 per hole and is available on holes 3, 9, 11, and 14, all par-three holes. Benefits include sponsor branding at the hole, recognition in the programme, and the opportunity to provide branded items for gift bags.

Bronze Hole Sponsorship is available at R2 500 per hole on the remaining tee boxes, excluding the 18th hole. Sponsors will receive branding at the tee box and recognition in the golf day programme.

Prizes and four-ball entries

All 100 participating golfers will receive a gift bag on arrival. Businesses are invited to contribute promotional products, golf accessories, vouchers, branded merchandise, snacks, or beverages.

The organisers also welcome prize sponsorships for categories including the Best Four-Ball Team, individual first, second, and third places,

Hole in One, Best Dressed or Team Spirit, Early Bird Registration, Most Creative Sponsor Team, and Best Sponsor Hole Setup. Prizes may also be used for raffles or charity auctions during the evening function.

Four-ball team entries cost R2 500 and include an 18-hole round of golf, halfway house refreshments, and an evening dinner. Entries are limited and will be confirmed only once payment has been received. Businesses wishing to support the event without playing may also sponsor a four-ball team.

Prize-giving and registration

The golf day will conclude with an evening prize-giving ceremony and charity auction, followed by dinner. The organisers are calling on businesses and community members to support the event and help make a positive difference in the lives of elderly residents.
