A 49-year-old male was recently arrested for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle.
This is after a member of Alberton SAPS received a tip-off of the stolen car during his crime prevention patrol.
Capt Manare Ramotshela, the spokesperson of Alberton SAPS, said, “Our members did not waste time in dealing with this matter. The suspect will soon be in the local court of law.”
The vehicle was confiscated for its owner to collect it and to be used as evidence in court.
Ramotshela thanked the community for joining hands with Alberton SAPS in their fight against crime.
