Now, that is service

We all moan about Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and yes, the potholes are a nightmare but I want to share what excellent service I recently received.

I went to the municipality to report two trees outside the property, which needed pruning. On arrival at security, I was treated with kindness as my details were logged and directed to the relevant building.

The lady at the Parks Department was kind and the matter was dealt with efficiently.

The following Monday, the crew arrived to prune the trees. They were polite and did an excellent job. The branches and debris were removed a few days later.

I was impressed by this excellent service and want to send my thanks to the parks department and the gate security who were also friendly.

This all took place the week I attended Brackenhurst Clinic. Again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We are all too quick to complain, but it’s important to show appreciation too. It takes nothing to be kind to another person.
