Mossie Pre-Primary School hosts graduation day

One of our school's goals is to encourage our children to be well-prepared academically and to raise them well.

Forty-three Mossie Pre-Primary School learners, who will start primary school next year, celebrated their graduation with smiles on December 7.

Hosted at Die Fakkel High School, the graduation was graced by parents, the school governing body and educators.

Lerato Malise, head of the foundation phase department, said it was a fantastic day and an honour to be a part of it.

“One of our school’s goals is to encourage our children to be well-prepared academically and to raise them well. This marks a good memory in our lives.

“We hope that everyone understands that graduation is a step towards the future and that our children will be our future leaders,” said Malise.

Malise went on to say to that the fact that they began with the same number of learners and finished the year with the same number, was an achievement for them.

Langa Klaas, a parent and SGB member, said: “We are very proud to have this graduation today and I am delighted that all parents and educators are present. I am proud to say that their learners are doing well, and that they will open the next door.”

Klaas added that they simply want parents to teach their children because education does not end at school, because they want them to succeed.
