A suspect allegedly linked to a series of outdoor light thefts in Mulbarton and Glenvista was apprehended following information received by the Fox Security Control Room.

According to Fox Security, footage relating to the incidents was shared with security officers to help them identify the suspect.

Officers later spotted a person matching the description while conducting a routine patrol. When approached, the suspect allegedly attempted to escape.

The officers responded swiftly and successfully apprehended the suspect before handing him over to Mondeor SAPS, where he was detained for further investigation.

Fox Security commended its officers for remaining alert and responding promptly to the information received.
