Brackendowns police renew appeal to locate man wanted for fraud
Brackendowns police are again appealing to the public for information that could help them locate 48-year-old Clevelin Dunn, who is wanted in connection with fraud cases dating back to 2018 and 2019.
Brackendowns SAPS have renewed their appeal for the public’s assistance in locating a 48-year-old man wanted in connection with fraud cases in the area.
According to a statement issued by the SAPS, Clevelin Dunn is wanted in connection with fraud cases committed in the Brackendowns area in 2018 and 2019.
The latest appeal comes after police previously sought the public’s help in locating Dunn. Documentation seen by the Alberton Record shows that SAPS Brackendowns has been pursuing the matter for several years, with fraud listed as the charge in an application for a warrant of arrest.
The documentation also identifies Dunn as the suspect in a Brackendowns case and includes a request from SAPS to publish his details as a wanted person.
Despite the cases’ age, police are still seeking information that could assist investigators in locating him.
SAPS is now asking anyone who may know Dunn’s whereabouts or have information that could help locate him to come forward.
“Anyone with information regarding the suspect can contact Detective Constable Masina of SAPS Brackendowns on 010 746 8942,” the police statement said.
The appeal was issued by the office of the Ekurhuleni District Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Mbongeni Ngcobo.
Members of the public with relevant information are urged to contact Detective Constable Masina directly at the number provided rather than attempting to confront or approach the wanted person.
