Ward 106 councillor commends committee members

After selflessly serving local residents for a year in their term in office, Ward 106 committee members were appreciated for a job well done.

Ward 106 Clr Tim Denny has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his team for constantly joining hands with him in serving his ward.

After continuously working alongside Denny, the committee members were presented with appreciation certificates on December 3 in New Redruth.

Ward committees are a link between the municipality and the community and are made up of representatives of a particular ward. These members who represent various interests within the ward are now looking forward to serving the community in 2023.

“I must stress though, none of what was achieved would be possible without the strength, support and integrity of my dynamic and committed team. Together, we have not only reshaped the political landscape of Alberton, but I believe we are already the benchmark in the City of Ekurhuleni,” said Denny.

He thanked the support received from the community and reiterated that he is excited about what 2023 will bring.
