Join Alberton Methodist Church’s Carols by Candlelight

As it hosts another Carols by Candlelight, Alberton Methodist Church says it wants to shine that light brightly amid the darkness that many people feel during Christmas time.

Following a successful Carols by Candlelight held at Alberton Methodist Church on December 4, the church invites the community to its second Carols by Candlelight to take place on December 23 at 17:30.

This Christmas, Alberton Methodist Church’s theme is Dare to Dream: Louder Joy, Bigger Hope, Bolder Peace and Wider Love.

The congregation decided to light up its car park with Christmas lights shining boldly and joyfully to those passing by. The recent Carols by Candlelight was enjoyed with wonderful music as the occasion aimed at promoting a sense of community.

“When thinking about how to help our community become excited that it is Christmas time, we all agreed that Jesus should be the light at the centre of everything in our lives. We are blessed to be able to bring joy, hope, peace, love and most importantly the light of Jesus to the Alberton community this Christmas,” explained Pastor James Dunn.
