EMPD officers visit Train Kids Preschool Academy

Members of Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department spent time with little ones from Train Kids Preschool Academy to offer fun and interactive lessons.

EMPD Southern Region Social Crime Prevention Unit officers visited the Train Kids Preschool Academy to educate the children on road safety on January 23.

Kiddies were taught about the various rules of the road in a fun and interactive way by the devoted officers.

“Furthermore, the members taught the children steps to take to stay safe, especially when they are approached by strangers. The EMPD believes that it’s best to educate and train children on safety while they are still young, so that they may grow up with that knowledge,” explained Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa of EMPD.

She said this will be an ongoing operation throughout other crèches and schools in the City of Ekurhuleni.
