Hospice collects used spectacle frames, hearing aids

Stepping Stone Hospices’ adult in-patient unit is a collection point for used spectacle frames and hearing aids.

Do you have any preloved spectacle frames and/or spare hearing aids you no longer use?

Pay it forward and donate your old hearing aid to someone in need. Your old hearing aids must work and not be older than six years.

The Hospice also welcomes donations of preloved spectacle frames. Your generosity will make a difference in somebody’s life. The donated frames are repurposed through the Lions BrightSight project office in Benoni.

Suitable frames will then be fitted with new prescription lenses and given to those without access to the usual routes of getting corrective glasses.

Established in July 1978, the project has supplied thousands of corrective spectacles to people in need throughout SA and neighbouring states.
