1426 releases highly anticipated second single Injabulo for 2025
Following the success of their February release Welcome To The Party, South Africa’s rising supergroup 1426 has just released their second single of the year Injabulo and fans can’t get enough.
South Africa’s music scene has been set ablaze once again with the release of Injabulo, the second highly anticipated single from the powerhouse supergroup 1426 in 2025.
Known for their innovative blend of genres and powerful chemistry 1426 is quickly becoming one of the most talked about acts in the country’s entertainment industry.
Following the success of their first 2025 release Welcome To The Party in February the group has kept the energy high with Injabulo, which showcases their continually evolving creativity and dynamic sound.
This track is set to further establish 1426 as a driving force within South African music and beyond.
1426 is a collective of seven talented artists who formed the supergroup in 2023.
All members are from Thokoza, a township rich in musical heritage. The group’s name is a tribute to the postal code of Thokoza and their music is deeply infused with the culture and experiences of the local community.
With members from diverse musical backgrounds including DopeFlop Sbala. K (Kruna) Rashid Kay Jabu Ndlaviini Spijo Makanvas Muz Mocka and Sannza Gold, the group blends hip-hop Afrobeat and more to create a distinctive sound that is fresh and unmistakably South African.
DopeFlop one of the founding members of 1426 reflected on their journey so far.

The group’s in-house producer Emmortalbeats from Welkom has been instrumental in shaping their signature sound. His partnership with DJ Rough SA who handles mixing recording and mastering has created a production environment that blends authenticity with modern innovation.
Since the release of Thokoza Anthem 2.0 and Straight Everest Remix, 1426 has made a significant impact on the entertainment industry.
