According to a personnel of the City of Ekurhuleni’s Customer Care Centre, the case was closed, despite the lack of any visible repairs.
After intervention from the Alberton Record, the call centre acknowledged the oversight and reopened the case, promising that the issue would be addressed by March 26.
The City of Ekurhuleni has yet to comment on the delay in repairs, and the spokesperson has been contacted for further clarification.
