Alberton High soars with Young Eagles programme

The Young Eagles programme takes flight, inspiring top-performing learners to achieve their tertiary goals.

The North-West University (NWU) hosted Alberton High School (AHS) at the Leeuwenhof Akademie in Bedfordview for an expo on March 25.

The expo is part of the NWU Young Eagles programme.

The event brought together top-performing learners from AHS who had the opportunity to take their tertiary aspirations to new heights.

The programme supports and empowers high-achieving students, helping them reach their full potential and academic goals.

Participating AHS learners gained insights and exposure to the university’s offerings, setting them up for success in their future studies.

The expo included talks on applying to the NWU and the study requirements for various fields. The learners were asked questions and researched the fields of study they might enter.
