Figures Alberton celebrates 27 callbacks and big wins at Project Aim Convention

Figures Alberton’s young models return with international accolades and one golden ticket to New Yok’s IMTA Convention.

Figures Alberton is beaming with pride as four of its rising stars returned home with 27 callbacks and a string of top accolades from the prestigious Project Aim Convention, held onboard the MSC Musica.

Among the standout performers was Amber Olivier, who competed in the M3 division and shone across multiple categories, including fashion print and runway, swimwear, TV beauty, commercial print, jeans, and strike a pose.

Her talent and dedication earned her the overall second place for child model of the year, second place in swimwear, third place in TV beauty and winner of fashion print runway.

Skyler Beukes also delivered an outstanding performance, placing second in Strike a Pose and walking away with the most callbacks from the eight international agents in attendance.

In total, the four Figures Alberton models secured 27 callbacks from the eight international agents in attendance with Amber getting seven, Skyler Beukes eight, and Genevieve Botha and Carla de Beer both getting six callbacks.

These callbacks offered invaluable one-on-one time with top industry professionals and scouts from around the globe.

Amber’s success at the convention has secured her an invitation to the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) Convention in New York this July, where she’ll represent Figures Alberton on one of the biggest international stages for young talent.

Melanie van den Heever, of Figures Alberton, expressed her excitement over the team’s achievements:

“I am incredibly proud of each one of our models. Their hard work, discipline, and determination truly shone through at the convention. These results are a reflection of their commitment to growing in the industry, and I can’t wait to see what they achieve next.”

The school congratulates the models on their incredible success and wishes them all the best as they take their next steps in the world of modelling.
