Stationery store launches raffle to help Hospice’s patients

All the proceeds will go to helping the Stepping Stone Hospice’s young patients facing life-limiting conditions.

In a heartwarming act, the team at Ink Pot, a stationery store in the 2nd Ave Shopping Centre in Verwoerd Park, launched a fundraiser to support the children’s unit at the Stepping Stone Hospice.

Driven by personal connections and shared admiration for the Hospice’s work, the Ink Pot staff, their suppliers and donors are raffling off a selection of premium stationery items for R20 a ticket.

For those wanting a bit more excitement, a weekend getaway is also up for grabs, with tickets costing R100 each.
The cause is close to the hearts of some Ink Pot staff, who have had loved ones cared for by the Hospice.

For others, the organisation’s ongoing commitment to compassionate care inspired their involvement.

Community members are encouraged to visit the Ink Pot to buy raffle tickets or drop off donations.

Those unable to visit in person can still contribute by commenting on the Stepping Stone Hospice social media page or sending a WhatsApp to Amanda Berg on 083 446 4232 for more information.

“Thank you, Ink Pot, for your generosity and kindness,” said the Stepping Stone Hospice in a Facebook post.
“You’re truly making a difference in the lives of our patients.”
