Construction of a new church is currently underway on Heidelberg Road in Alberton.

The project, which began in April 2025, is expected to be completed early next year.

Site manager Steven Sibande confirmed that the new church will be called Christian Family Church.

To accommodate the expected increase in traffic during services, a section of Heidelberg Road was extended. The road upgrade was completed in June 2025.
