Young Randhart anglers reel in top honours at fishing final
Laerskool Randhart’s young anglers made waves at the fishing final, with both the U10 A and U13 A-boys teams earning top honours and several learners dominating the individual standings.
Young anglers from Laerskool Randhart have once again proven that dedication and teamwork pay off after delivering outstanding performances at the recent fishing final.
The school’s fishing teams took part in the final event of the season and celebrated an unforgettable day on the water with exceptional results across multiple age groups.
The U13 A-boys team was named the best U13 boys team, while the U10 A-boys team also secured the title of best U10 boys team.
Laerskool Randhart said it is proud of every angler who represented the school with pride and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Several learners also achieved excellent individual results.
In the U10 league, Jeanru Pretorius claimed first place, followed by Aiden de Klerk in second and Josh Hawkins in third place, completing a clean sweep for Randhart anglers.
Rico Serfontein took first place in the U13 league, adding another top honour to the school’s impressive list of achievements.
The results highlight the growing strength of fishing as a school sport and underline the commitment shown by Randhart’s young anglers and coaches throughout the season.
With multiple team and individual victories, the Randhart fishing teams have certainly given the Alberton community plenty to celebrate.
