A warm thank you to Brackenhurst Clinic

I would like to compliment the great service that I received on February 23 at Brackenhurst Clinic.

I woke up in the morning with my son (a two-year-old) to go to Alberton Clinic, but unfortunately the clinic was closed due to the Covid cases (as per the note on the gate).

I had asked for family responsibility leave at work and I was worried to ask again for the day on Thursday (Alberton Clinic would be open then).

We then drove to Brackenhurst after asking for another clinic, since we reside in Randhart. We were there in a few minutes and there was a queue outside but the friendly security lady asked us to go inside for the baby clinic. When I went inside another friendly security lady nicely spoke to me and showed me where to wait outside. The queue was long, but there was order and they were fast.

Elderly were given chairs to sit on, pregnant women were taken good care off and I witnessed the best service I have seen in a long time.

After a few minutes, we were asked to bring our clinic cards to reception and sit inside.

There were about three people in front of us and in less than 20 minutes we were called to measure his weight and height by a friendly nurse. Within five minutes we were called to room D11, I think, where we found two nurses who were very friendly and helped us in seconds with a warm welcome.

The service in that clinic is amazing, not only for me but for all the patients. The staff there are friendly and dedicated. I also used their bathrooms, which were very clean.

Very great service! Keep it up, guys, all of you in that clinic! I know people like to complain about nurses but we still have dedicated people with “ubuntu” there.

Well done and keep doing what you are doing. Indeed, you chose this profession with passion and you are the Florence Nightingale of today.

Thanks a lot for the love, care and warmth you provided us.

Stay blessed.
