The fifth edition of the Trap de Val 100-Miler is set to take place on May 31, starting from 06:00, at the Cycle Hub in the Lifestyle Centre at Thaba Trails, and finishing at Val Hotel in Mpumalanga.

This prestigious event directly benefits the Teddy Bear Foundation for Abused Children, a renowned NGO in South Africa that has been providing comprehensive support to abused children and their families since 1986.
By participating in the Trap de Val 100-Miler, riders will be contributing to a worthy cause that makes a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The 162 km route promises to test the mettle of even the most seasoned cyclists. With 1282m of elevation gain and 85% of the route comprising gravel roads, riders will need to be prepared for a thrilling and demanding journey.
Four water points and a halfway food point will provide welcome respite for riders, who can refuel and recharge before tackling the second half of the route.

Riders can choose from three options to suit their style and preferences:
Solo: One rider covers the full 162 km distance.
Duo Team: Two riders relay, each covering half the distance.
E-bikes: Welcome to join the ride, with the option to manage power usage or arrange for a spare battery at the halfway mark.
To secure a spot and receive a complimentary goodie bag, riders must enter by May 25.
Shirt orders must be placed by April 30 to ensure delivery before the event and ride-only entries will close on May 30 at 12:00.
After conquering the trails, riders can look forward to a well-deserved post-ride recovery meal and drink, included in the entry fee.
The Trap de Val 100-Miler is more than just a cycling event – it’s a chance to make a difference in the lives of abused children and their families.
Join the movement, challenge yourself, and ride for a cause that matters.
