Dinamika U15A storm to 10-wicket victory over Lichtenburg

Hoërskool Dinamika’s U15A cricket team delivered a dominant performance, securing a 10-wicket victory over Hoërskool Lichtenburg in the Finsbury League’s C-Division.

After winning the toss and opting to bowl, Dinamika’s relentless bowlers restricted Lichtenburg to just 27 runs for nine wickets in 13.3 overs.

Daniel Kearns was the standout bowler, claiming two wickets for six runs in five overs. He was well supported by Divan van Helden (two wickets for no runs in two overs) and Jaco van Staden (two wickets for one run in 1.3 overs).

Lichtenburg’s batsmen struggled to build partnerships, with the team crumbling under pressure.

In reply, Dinamika easily chased the paltry target of 28, reaching 28/0 in just 7.5 overs.

Malan Oosthuyzen top-scored with 11 runs off 23 balls, while Kearns, after his bowling heroics, finished the chase with seven runs off 24 balls.
