Hoërskool Marais Viljoen High School’s rugby squad smashed their opponents during a home game for the North West University’s (NWU) Prestige Series, which shines a light on top-performing schools in various sporting codes.

Hoërskool Lichtenburg suffered a 22-13 defeat at the hands of Hoërskool Marais Viljoen High School’s first-team rugby squad, which displayed dominance during the match.

This was the Alberton-based side’s first win in the 2025 series, and they took advantage of their fortunes by scoring the three tries awarded to them.
