WATCH: Laerskool Generaal Alberts Primary received a netball kit sponsorship
The netball kit handover took place at Mall at Newmarket, in Alberton.
Netball players from Laerskool Generaal Alberts Primary were generously sponsored with a 15-player netball kit by food retailer Panarottis.
The handover ceremony was held at Panarottis’ restaurant on Heidelberg Road, Mall at Newmarket, in Alberton.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Panarottis general manager Busi Maseko said:
“We normally go to schools to handout vouchers but when I spoke to a teacher a General Alberts, she pointed out that they would appreciate a netball kit sponsorship. So I spoke to my boss about it, and he authorised the payment for the dresses. Today we want to cheer the girls up by serving them lunch and doing the handover.”

The girls were excited to receive their netball kits. Another moment of happiness for them came when waitresses at Panarottis came out of the restaurant’s kitchen carrying large pizzas and cool drinks to serve the girls and their teachers.
