Keller Dover’s daughter (6) and her friend go missing on the way to their nearby house, and the only suspicious thing eyewitnesses see is an RV driving away.
Minutes turn into hours and the girl’s parents are not dealing with the matter very well. Keller eventually goes out of his mind after police arrest the driver of the RV.
With no solid evidence, police release the man and Keller takes him captive… abusing the man to limits where he feels enough pain but does not die. Some might argue that the detailed scenes and images of his swollen face is too much for sensitive viewers.
Adamant that the man knows something, Keller does not stop searching. Eventually, after the movie is drawn out for many minutes a breakthrough is made.
Just as the movie seems to have a happy ending, it ends… with an open ending leaving your mind to wonder whether another captive is actually found or not.
