Durban theatre luminary Melanie Kisten returns after sold-out concerts at Emperors Palace in 2018 and 2019 with a fresh new production.
Big Amma and Biggs Locked Down is a fresh new comedy that turns the spotlight on family dynamics and marriage issues between big Amma and her husband Biggs during the lockdown not forgetting the pitfalls of greed.
They are a seemingly ideal couple but are pushed to the limits by gossip and materialism.
This whacky adventure is also complemented by vibrant dance sequences.
Kisten has well established herself as a powerhouse producer with the recent hit shows, The Bread, The Porridge and the Mix Masala and Who the Boss that successfully ran to sold-out theatres both in Johannesburg and Durban.
Big Amma’s house is certainly no different, so this latest production is set to further cement her popularity at the box office.
Kisten has amassed a merry fan base that grows with each production.
Big Amma has definitely been entertaining thousands of fans during lockdown with her hilarious Facebook and Tik Tok videos. So, if fun is your flavour, you’re in for a delicious treat at Big Amma and Biggs Locked Down.
