Soccer kit and portable lab for Gordon

ALRXANDRA - Gordon Primary School is among the many schools in the country that received sports kits and a portable science laboratory.

Gordon Primary School in Alexandra received sport kits and a science portable laboratory from OMO and Spar.

The donation is part of the OMO Schools’ Challenge which is now in its seventh year, and aims to help pupils unleash their full potential through spending time outdoors and getting much-deserved physical activity.

The nationwide consumer competition will result in pupils at 75 South African schools receiving brand new sport kits plus a Science Portalab per school.

“OMO understands that the key building blocks to a brighter future for our children, begins with subjects such as science,” said the company’s Caroline Clayton. “That is why OMO has extended the campaign this year, to include science portalabs in an effort to make science in the classroom more meaningful and fun.”
