Phenduka calls on old pupils

ALEXANDRA - The Phenduka Literacy Project is calling on old pupils who were on the programme in past to contact the project office.

Former participants of the Phenduka Literacy Project are requested to contact the project office.

“We want to know whether the programme has helped former participants to make progress at school,” said project director Alison Beynon..

“We are also interested to know how far they have gone in their high school educations and possibly other careers, whatever the case may be.”

The former pupils can contact Beynon, better known to them as Mama Ali to arrange for an interview at the project offices or their old school.

Beynon said the best time to call the project office was between 11am to 12 noon or after 2pm.

“We will pay for your transport to our venue or to your old school, and we will give you a stationery pack as a thank you gift for talking to us. We would love to hear from you,” she said.

Details: Alison Beynon 011 346 2155.
