Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Manare Ramotshela said the men were arrested on 20 May at a home in Cameroon Street, Tsutsumani where the vehicle, a white Nissan 1400 bakkie reported stolen the day before, was found stripped.
Ramotshela said the owner of the vehicle who lives in 8th Avenue, had reported it stolen the previous night. At the time, the vehicle was parked at a home in 12th Avenue. The police identified the vehicle by the engine number.
The men will remain in custody until investigations are completed.
