Low water pressure is being experienced in Randjieslaagte and Linbro Park, and has resulted in a water problem in Alexandra between 1st and 4th, and 11th and 13th avenues.
A team of technicians is currently working onsite and residents’ shacks will be moved from the affected area. Water tankers have been placed along the critical points in 2nd Avenue and at schools around that area of Alex.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we are hopeful the situation will be rectified soon,” said David Sibiya, acting communications and marketing manager of Joburg Water.
